I took my front air dam off but I couldn't stand seeing the brackets for it so I trimmed it. No better way to spend a snow day at work.

It might not be too easy to see with the snowNice custom work. Got a far away shot so we can see how it looks against the front end better?
And thanks. I'm an engineer in an aerospace facility so I have access to anything I need. LolNice custom work. Got a far away shot so we can see how it looks against the front end better?
I used a water jet to cut it. I'm always looking for things to modify or build. It's definitely funThat looks pretty good IMO.
And I'm sure it is absolute precision fabricated. Not just a sharpie and jig saw job. That alone is coolness factor.
I definitely like the way it looks. You're right, it does have more ground clearance with it trimmedYeah trimmed mine to hide the brackets. Looks better for ground clearance.

A band saw and an angle grinder would work also. Then use some 320 grit to knock off any burrs. I just followed the lines that were already on there. The lines where you trimmed look really good. I need to trim mine and put it back on. I wish I had access to a water jet though!
I really like your tires. I'm getting the same size on mine next week. Did you have to trim at all? Was your speedo off at all?The lines where you trimmed look really good. I need to trim mine and put it back on. I wish I had access to a water jet though!

With a 3/2 I should be fine then. I just wanted to fill up the fender wells without spending 1200 on tires. 275-60-20 is standard on dodge rams so the tires are fairly inexpensive. I'll post pic when I get them on. It should at another inch to the lift so that's an added bonus [emoji1303]Thanks man. I didn't end up having to do any trimming. They did rub some with only a 2"/1" level but after adding the Bilsteins and Moog springs I don't have any rub. The Duratracs have lugs on the sidewall that do rub the sway bar at full lock though.

4WD. Sitting at 40" all the way around. My front is definitely maxed out. The shop couldn't get a perfect alignment because they ran out of adjustment. With the new tires it will be 41.5". That's plenty for me. I just think it look goofy with very little side wall. I didn't want to go smaller on my rim size. Are you 2wd? What fender heights did you get with the 3/2?
Mine are 39.25"F/40.5"R right now but I'm pretty much maxed out on the front angles for 4wd.
I wish we had round fenderwells like the Ford and Dodge trucks. They can fit 35's with just a level.
They run about 290 for the set? I definitely want to order some. My list of things I want is just getting longer and longer. LolDamn that is definitely maxed out. You should look at a set of the Rough Country UCA's. I'm about to buy a set of them. I can imagine those angles are pretty bad.
