Has anybody used the crown suspension 2/4 lowering kit? The one with drop spindles, springs, shock brackets? what the quality like? or should I just steer clear? It seems hard to justify spending over double on one of the other kits for my 05 esky.

I have used Crown parts to rebuild the suspension on my XJ Cherokee - used Crown springs, leafs, brackets. Were perfectly good quality, pleased with the parts. I don;t have experience with the drop kit you want for your rig, but I wouldn't be concerned with using Crown for the parts you mentioned. Others here may have direct experience with this drop kit.

I had a crown 3/4 kit on my 04 Tahoe. rode around with it for a year or so then wanted to go lower an have a better ride so I installed mcgaughys drop spindles an put the factory keys back in. I also changed to mcgaughys springs in the rear an actually put the crown back in an thats what I have now. The quality on their stuff seems fine an the springs ride ok

My Crown kit arrived yesterday. I can wait to tear into it but the weather here in Portland, Or has been a steady stream of water and my shop is packed with crap for our store. So It will have to wait for a semi nice day. I got the 2/4 kit springs and spindles. One question I have is for the rear autoride linkage. I've seen mention here on the forums about getting some all thread but thats about as much info as I could find. Anybody know what size? or have a link to somebodys thread? Pics would be killer to. I will post pics Soon but most likely I'll just start build thread in the under construction area because I've already done alot in the 6 weeks I've owned her. (tint, headlights, grill, 24's, led's). And thank you to everyone on here. Its really a nice change being a newb in the parts and getting a warm welcome and solid info. You all rock!
