Hello, I'm new to the forum but a Yukon fiend like the rest of you.

I have an 02 SLT Auto Ride. My compressor runs quite often.. as in every 2-3 minutes. Then it may remain running for 2-3 minutes.

How often does your compressor run? The constant sound is REALLY starting to irritate me. Already looking into rear conversions... Any tips or advice out there?

Thanks.

monroe sells a shock with a light coil over spring made for the vehicles w/o autoride. I am repalceing my shocks today. the kits you refer to have these same shocks plus 3 ohm 25watt resistors to wire in place of your shock sensors. I removed my sensors and drove around the block and i did not get any warning message and i have not yet installed the resistors. I unplugged my compressor also.

i had the same issue with my 03 denali. it did not run as often as yours but it was on alot. from what i understand it should only run when you start the truck and if you add load to it (trailer, bunch of people etc.) im not in the situation where my compressor finally took a shit and i need to replace that and i will be replacing the shocks because i understand they are probly the culpret (leaking) that caused the compressor to run soo often. so for you i would check your air lines first, make sure they are not leaking air, and then check the bags to see if they are leaking

welcome by the way!

Thanks for the troubleshooting tips. I think I am going to bypass the whole auto level system, from what I have read it's to troublesome to keep fixing. I'm looking for a one time fix, not an ongoing headache.
