It’s that time of year again when my favorite people in my life are looking for ideas for things to get me for Christmas. I have a Tech2, and some other specialty tools for these things, but I’m curious if you guys have anything in your shops that you would consider especially useful or unique, that I should consider asking for. What say y’all?

Roll-around tech cart if you don't already have one. You load it up with the tools and parts for the particular task, then you can bring it with you and have your stuff picked out and at your disposal without having to make multiple trips back to the tool box or around your garage collecting the specialty tools for the project. It's also a great place to set items as you're working- removed parts or parts about to be installed, laptop, phone, beverage, etc.

I use mine to drag around as I'm under and around a car on the lift. It's really handy when doing brakes cuz it's a flat surface to hold the tools, parts, brake cleaner and drain pan at waist height. I'll load it with hammer, nails or screws, and other materials to bring to the house (shop is about 40' away from house and garage) for the house projects or to work in the garage, which is mostly non-car or metal stuff.

All great suggestions, thank you! I have a roll cart, but not a heated toilet seat. A mini-split system for the garage is a great idea, and I can always use more gloves and a decent flashlight. She gave me HD jack stands last year.

To my list I've added:
-HP Tuners MPVI2 unit with 2 credits
-ChassisEAR's
-Foldable Topside engine creeper
-An iCarsoft diagnostic tool for our Land Rover
-23pc aluminum oil filter cup wrench set
-Hulkman Alpha85 jump starter

well one must have if you do not already is a large air compressor and air tools or some decent battery impacts that can take lug nuts and other misc stuff off & on
that's a big time saver.
I have been working on my own vehicles as much as reasonably possible since I was about 18 and i'm 54 so it's hard to say what I might have that others would find as useful, I have a ton of misc tools and adapters it's pretty rare that I have to go buy a "special tool" the problem is usually finding the one I know have already when I need it lol.
that being said I don't tear down engines or transmissions so I don't have like caliper set's? and maybe a nice digital torque wrench would be handy

Air hammer is a great idea. I have a compressor but not an air hammer. Don't know if I'd use a needle scaler around here but will add both to the list anyway :)

How about a set of KM3s for playing in sand or snow?
