Checked my engine hours today

Decided to check my engine hours today. When purchasing the PPV, I found out the unit was used in traffic control rather than regular patrol, so I figured the hours would reflect the hours of sitting and watching for traffic infractions, and it certainly does.

With only 77K miles on the clock, it would seem rather low for a 2013. However, the engine hours register at 16,325, so roughly 2 years of the 11 years it has been on the road, that engine has been running.

So I am guessing I am going to have to keep a close eye on oil use with this PPV.

I know it’s not the record, but is something to be taken into account for future service checks. At least the chassis and body don’t reflect the high hours, just the reasonable mileage.

I'm at 195k and I think 97-something

I’m at 190k and 4100 hours. 16k idle hours is insane.

How's it doing for you. I bought a PPV with 100k miles, 2019 and has 14k hours.
