I went out to check it out I see the part that connects to steering box and other end connects to column about 12-14 inches long. how does the other part get removed?

If I recall correctly it slips into the steering column. If you remove the portion that attaches to the gear box, you should be able to slide the portion that goes into the steering column down from the engine bay side. If it doesn't come off, I'll take what you are able to remove.

I had actually purchased those pieces new for both my trucks but the shop chromed everything. They only should have chromed the side that interfaces with the shaft in the Engine bay. The plating chemicals caused the knuckle to seize.

Thanks.

Okay so the 2 parts fit in a flat rate box. Add $10 shipping so $35 to [email protected] is PayPal plus PayPal fee or F&F. I can ship today. With address. IMG_20191125_125013.jpg IMG_20191125_125018.jpg IMG_20191125_125327.jpg

where does it unplug from? If its a simple unplug I let you have it for shipping cost.

Tomorrow I will send you a picture where to cut the harness. It's right under the drivers side rear bumper. You can disconnect one section, I also need the other side of the connection as well.

Thats the plug Im looking for, I need about 6in to each side.

It's cool to see these cars live on in other memebers' vehicles. Reminds me of when we retired the old '79 Buick, parts from that car still exist today in others, still have parts from it myself. I think back then, parts from that one went into 5 other Buicks and an Oldsmobile.
