Hello All,

I purchased a 2010 Yukon XL Denali about a month ago. It came with 24" Asanti's which weren't my style and I sold them this week. So with the sale of the wheels I have purchased some new items to change up the look of the Denali. This weekend everything should be here and I should have the modifications complete. Listed below are the plans;

-2" Leveling Kit
-20" Matte Black Method NV Wheels
-285/55/20 Nitto Terra Grapplers
-Painted to match black door handles
-Black factory style grille and lower grille
-Removal of door trim mouldings, and emblems.

I will take some pictures once its all complete for you everyone to check out. I'm super excited!!

Thanks,

John

:D

Even the "before" pics would be nice. I'm currently envisioning a pink Yukon XL with black rims, black grille, and black handles...

:D

You going to paint the chrome handles?

I can't imagine how well paint would stick to even prepped chrome on such a high wear item.

Also, where are you getting the black Denali grill?

Or painting this as well?

The ones on Egay are a not properly stamped........

Hey Guys,

Here is a picture of the truck currently.

As for the handles, I actually purchased factory painted handles from a tahoe, suburban, silverado, etc. As for the Grille I purchased a D-Spec Black Grill, and if its not properly stamped then I will send it back and go for a T-Rex Upper Class.

I will get some updated pictures on the weekend.

Thanks

John

Hey hows it going?

You are correct it does currently have a black grille however its the oem chrome grille painted black and its chipping everywhere. The paint is peeling in some areas, etc. and its really bugging me everytime I look at it so I purchased one that is manufactured originally in black.

Thanks,

John

Ah. That would bother me to no end too.

Lol

I have been searching for a black Denali grill as well. However it seems due to GM copyright issues the aftermarket grills cannot make a exact GMC logo cutout. So they make a big black square instead.

If you get the right one please pm me a link.

Here are some pictures, it came out pretty good.

-Put on the new wheels and tires
-Installed the 2" RC Lift
-Painted factory door handles
-removed all trim and moldings

Let me know what you guys think? It came out great.

John

x2

just wrap it in black vinyl so you can always go back. I'd put a very very very light shade of tint on the front headlights and fog lights too so they don't stick out so much since they are so shiny.
