Can I just change the stock bulbs to LED ones? Or do I need to solder? I have a 2003 Tahoe LT.
Thanks.

Look for threads here by scottyboy.
He seems to be extremely knowledgeable on what it takes to change colors on interior lighting.
He has started several threads here on the subject.

Edit: in some of the threads he offered to work on other users clusters. For a relatively cheap fee

LED kits are here!

We now have LED kits available for 1999 and up GM vehicles! Most kits are $50.00 plus $10 shipping and come with instructions. If you want us to install them it is an additional $25.00.
For now we only have BLUE CLEAR or RED
2003 and up need to be soldered,1999-2002 are twist type from the back. We can also fix your gauges and rebuild your cluster for $110.00. Check it out at:

HELP !

I need to change some burnt bulbs on my '03 Tahoe.
I don't find any OEM incandescent bulb.
If you do the LEd upgrade would you be kind enough to mail me your unused OEM bulbs?

Bet you’ll find them somewhere. Btw, I live over the lake. In Norway. :fishing1:

Bobas, check out this DIY thread I did. http://tahoeyukonforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=24215
Its really not that hard to solder in LEDs by yourself. The main thing is you need to get comfortable using a soldering iron. If you need to, go ahead and practice soldering with some scraps of wire. Once you get the hang of it, its really not hard at all. The biggest tip I can give you is do NOT keep the iron on the circuit board too long. The worst thing you can do is get the board too hot.
