I have a spare Yukon. It has a gauge cluster that is within a few hundred miles of my own but it's gauges appear to be more accurate and the gas gauge doesn't "buzz".

Is this a plug-n-play swap or must something be reprogrammed for my VIN?

If it's the same year and same style truck it'splug and play, if you swap years and what not you may run into issues. I know 96+ has a different pin out for the trans selector then the 95s do.
