Same here. I enjoy the excitement of driving a risky vehicle. The extra flammability of the 6.2 is soooo enticing and the flame-retardant 5.3 is soooo lackluster.

You're a braver man, than I. If it's me, that engine gets a full rebuild. I'd be tearing down to the bare block and sending it off to the machine shop and building it from the ground up after everything that motor has been through but that's just me.

Now that's how my Buick motors used to look like after 100-150k miles with synthetic oil. Did you label the rods or did the factory?
