Same here. I enjoy the excitement of driving a risky vehicle. The extra flammability of the 6.2 is soooo enticing and the flame-retardant 5.3 is soooo lackluster.

You're a braver man, than I. If it's me, that engine gets a full rebuild. I'd be tearing down to the bare block and sending it off to the machine shop and building it from the ground up after everything that motor has been through but that's just me.

I labeled them

I pulled out the transmission, both driveshafts, transfer case, front diff and I cut the mounts off the frame for the front diff. Also keeping the transmission crossmember because it's different than the 2wd.

Have you rebuilt/done anything with the drivetrain yet? I also wonder if the heat from the fire did anything negative to the internals of the transmission.
