Boys and girls,don't forget to change your cabin filter.Just picked up this 2015 with nearly 100k and I am pretty sure it has never been changed.

Sadly I just bought a '17 and the filter looked about the same. Woulda thought the dealer would change it.
I bet they had no idea there was one, the dealer that is.... gm changed their mind about factory installing them 15,000x over the years....

I test drove a used vehicle once and it smelled like smoke. I pulled the cabin filter and it looked like that. Sales person asked me my thoughts and I mentioned the smell and he said he would look into it.... I stopped him and told him I pulled the cabin filter out and put in in the passenger floor and told him I found the issue already. I also told him if the dealership wasn't going to prep a vehicle for sale with better work quality then I wasn't willing to shop there. $10 part lost my attention
