Hey, this isn’t for my Tahoe, but rather a rental 23 Tahoe a friend of mine just picked up. She isn’t used to driving such a big vehicle, and she bumped a fire hydrant coming out of the driveway. Any suggestions of how to get the red chipping of the fire hydrant paint off the body? We’re a few blocks down from an Ace hardware, so if we can get it there that would be fantastic. I can post a picture in a few minutes.

Just wash it and then use a cleaner wax on the area. That may work

We ended up getting it out with some scratch doctor and goo gone. I was really hesitant with the goo gone and washed it off immediately after it worked. Didn’t wanna damage that clear layer of paint
