The luxury of having a high mileage vehicle in Ohio has caught up to me. When I bought it, I knew there was a little paint work done to the front. Looks like the PO bumped something and someone half-assed the repair to the bumper cover. That also caused the paint to crack at the spot where the fender/bumper meet and was rusting. I cleaned all that up, repaired a ding on the hood, and repaired the door edges and seam sealed them. Ended up basically spraying the whole from clip lol.

Looks great! Is that stealth gray? I think mine is the same color. Also, how do you like your headlights?

Yes it is. I love these lights. I also have LEDs for the low beams and it is a vast improvement over the oem setup. Biggest issue was aiming because I couldn't use an aiming machine and the adjustment screws aren't in an area to access them without removing the assemblies.

Is your paint code 503q? I think our trucks are the same color. I'm having trouble matching mine. The metallic isn't as heavy and prominent enough as it is from the factory. Made the paint myself twice to the tee. Ppg tectron. Going to try global or dupont next.

Painting metallics of any color is a very tedious task. You can have a variable from the manufacture. You could also have variables from the place that is mixing your paint. Also how you prep the vehicle and how you spray greatly affects how well it will match. Even raising or lowering air pressure affects how the metallics flow. Mine is very close but not spot on. I originally just wanted to spot in on the fenders but one fender I had to feather to the edge where the door jamb is. Under certain light, you can see a small difference in the hue. When doing something like this, it's best to blend into the next panel and then do a clear overcoat over the entire panel.
