Also, upon further investigation, the condenser was not faulty, the O-rings were. still swapped out the condenser and put in new O-rings though, since we were already there in terms of work being done. and parts on hand Will probably start tire shopping here soon. Want something with good traction, high mileage tires aren't necessary. I doub't i'll put 40k miles on the burb in the life of ownership for me, so chances are this will bet he only set of tires i need to install on it

Sometimes i wish my sister was more successful. sounds like i might be loaning her the burb while her car gets fixed since i'm a good brother and own more vehicles then anyone else in the family...my hobby isn't your fail safe....such is life though But this is also forcing the new tires to go on the burb. and i might be able to sneak on some other items real quick tonight though before i go get tires tomorrow

Tempting, tempting, lol

Knowing i wouldn't have it this weekend, and wanting to throw these on, i put these one at the end of the day. If anyone else i looking to throw these on, i recommend buying the applicator spray, and doing it when the sun hasn't been glaring on it all day. Just gives you a little more time when everything is cool.

I've done a lot of vinyls over the years, these are definitely high quality so i'll share

And the applicator spray i used

When applying tape it up where you want it with painters tape, pull half off, remove the paper, spray the window and back side of the vinyl with the spray, and carefully put it back on with the squeegee. It only takes a couple of minutes and is well worth it in the end. Just take your time and it's pretty easy to do.

I'll actually be over in your realm @SpareParts this weekend, heading to New Leaf Nursery on Saturday up in Hayden to grab some more trees for the property. Every time i visit Idaho i wish i could've afforded to buy over there, prices went effin crazy the last time we moved. But Elk is nice too Just wish Idaho would invade and move the border

Don't mind me, just putting this here for future reference.....I need to look into seeing if our grills can be removed without removing the bumper, would make installing things behind the grill much easier. But this will solve my issue of where to put a switch for some added light.....

So you ever see something and decide you kinda need it? I love the giant screen in my wife's 24 acadia...turns out that the guys over at DDP motorsports can get their hands on this set up. Only things it doesn't work with is the rear entertainment, which IIRC no aftermarket head units do. And the rear HVAC controls which i can live without being able to control. Soooo once the RV sells, i think this and the moriomto headlights will be getting ordered up. I was debating about doing the Android auto upgrade factory style, but why do that and keep the tiny screen, when for just a little more i can upgrade the interior and make the burb jump 10 years into the future and be truly modern again?

I should be able to order the new headlights, lightbar, and radio in the next week or so. And then it's waiting on my sister to fix her darn car and give me back mine so i can figure out if i want to run the Esky IC or just do a Deanli one

Sister's car is finally done and fixed. i get my burb back. so i can hopefully work on the IC swap and decide what i'm doing there. Also might as well install the HUD and the new headlight switch that has a button for my light bar i'll need to buy and mount on the front. But more importantly, radio and headlights. those have a possible delay...waiting to sell the RV before buying them. But hopefully soon I'll be able to bring my fully loaded beater back to the future with LED headlights and an modern sized touch screen.

So if anyone is wondering. I'm not dead, just been busy. Dealing with closing a deal on the RV, which includes getting some repairs down and then i'll be able to pull the trigger on the new headlights and the screen. Also, i should be able to post some links for anyone interested, since there will be a July sale on some of these So i'll share that with y'all.

Also, on the burb, driver's side headlight which has had condensation since i bought it. Turn signal bulb went out. Or so it claimed. Upon furhter inspection, the cap had corrosion damage for the turn signal bulb so the electrical signal couldn't go through. Also. Eff the palcement of that cap I'm glad it was the driver's side....i went to pull it out, and dropped it. Was at my buddies house, so i didn't have any of my cool tools that would have made pulling the cap out easy. Which means i pulled the 2nd battery tray. Which also, WTF GM. Does it really need that many securement points??? i think there were 8 bolts holding just the tray down. and of course you need to unbolt the PDC in order to actually pull that tray out. with 3 bolts, but 2 are directly under wires. Again, would have been easy at my house but my dumbutt decided "it's just a bulb i'll do it at my buddies while he is messing around with his wife's car" so i had very limited tool selection...pretty sure i had a bigger tool selection at 18 then my buddy has today in his mid 30s. But regardless, got the cap out to find the corrosion. And while yeah, i probably could clean it up, or get a new cap....i'm going to swap out to Morimoto XB headlights hopefully within a month. why the heck would i put more money into this housing when i'm hoping to replace it within the next month??? So i'll deal with the burnt out headlight turn signal notification. Not a big deal IMHO But hopefully soon, the next phase of upgrades can happen. I might be able to mess with the dash this weekend and get the HUD installed and work on fitment for the esky IC

One of my biggest reasonings on the radio is get wireless android auto. same amount of work to just get AA on my 15, so i might as well go all in. Plus then our beater can have a bigger screen then the wife's acadia. Hoping i can get the RV finalized this month....the joys of working multiple deals on one deal

Ugh. IDK if any of your understand how badly i want to swap out my headlights and the radio. but the RV deal is slightly postponed. Getting some stuff fixed through warranty first, like the roof membrane because the glue failed within the factory warranty period. And Keystone is honoring their warrnaty, they just took nearly 2 weeks to make that decision. But it will be repaired, and then my buddy is buying it, and then i get to buy the headlights and the radio and tell all of you how cool i look with fancy LED headlights and a radio that's bigger then what they are putting in the new burbs and yukons AND i'll be able to watch youtube while i drive like all the cool kids do. But it is incredbly aggravating to have a list of things i want to do, that are properly budgeted and allocated. but waiting on one big deal before being able to move on with the rest of my wants and needs. So here's my post complaining about life instead of a post of me complaining about how stupid it is that i need to pull the front bumper to swap out the headlights

First world problems
Pretty much everything we discuss here is a first-world problem. I've also noticed that Cadillac is particularly adept at solving first world problems. For example, the problem of mediocre leather quality on the lower trim lines is solved in the Escalade Platinum with top-drawer semi-aniline leather. Lol.
