Brembo or PPV Brakes on 21 Tahoe.

Uh, the spare should be the same tire height as what’s on the vehicle, so the wheel diameter has ZERO to do with fitting where the spare resides.

That's what I was getting at. Didn't know if I was missing something.

Recently purchased a used 21 Tahoe.
I have seen the Police PPV calipers and even used 6 piston GM Brembos for sale for a reasonable price.
In addition to the calipers I assume I would need new rotors? Do I need to buy new backing plates/dust shields or any other parts?
Can I used the same brake proprotioning valve and Master Cylinder?
Are there any threads detailing this install?
Is this even something I should consider?

Something else I have run across...
On RockAuto's website you can buy Cadillac Escalade V 6 piston calipers/rotors and pads for about $1500.
It looks like the same calipers as the Brembo upgrade option from Chevrolet.
Going from a 4 piston to a 6 piston seems like there would need to be a change made with the master cylinder or perhaps something else?

In another thread I posted my experience with the front GM performance Brembo brake system.
I had it installed by the dealership that I bought my 2024 Tahoe High Country from.
I used 2 coupon codes that I think are available all January and after the discount I paid just over $2k for the front Brembo kit.
Dealership install price was $327 and the technician I spoke with who did the installation said everything came with it, as he said “massive (compared to stock) rotors”, dust shield, pads and everything else needed. He was busting my balls for not getting the rear kit also, not so much as it will make a difference but for the principle - you have a high end truck and you didn’t want to spend the extra money to match the system?
I told him it appears to be similar caliper but just painted.
He said it comes with new better pads and he expected me to get complete system as he knows me and does all the work on all of the Chevy trucks I have owned for the last decade or so.

He has a valid point as you don’t buy the High Country and expensive performance brake kit but you don’t get the matching rear because it is 20% more?
Spoken like a true motor head car enthusiast. His personal car is a modded Camaro with matching front and rear brake kit because that’s the way you do it!
I’m ordering the rear kit because he is absolutely right!

I only have a couple days with them and still “breaking them in” lol but no change in anything besides stopping power which is excellent and what really should be normal for these vehicles.

No noise, squealing, squeaking just solid pedal feel and stopping on the proverbial dime. They told me that I should really notice the difference when pulling my 6.5k lb boat/trailer.
