I've had this little microphone-looking thing attached to my upper console since I bought my car. I'm assuming it's for an aftermarket Bluetooth system but I can't find where it goes or how you connect to it or what brand it is. No devices ever come up when I'm searching for Bluetooth. Anyone recognize it or know where it should connect to the system? My truck has the OnStar system and XM if that helps. Thanks for the help.

Yes, it would be nice to be able to use one as a bluetooth mic, my kenwood had a mic that came with it, i had to use it. Sucks when you have two already there.

Well great. I was hoping maybe I could use Bluetooth in my truck because I can't get OnStar because the system hasn't been changed from analog to digital. I called my dealer and just the kit is $350! I don't think I want it that bad haha

Couple months ago I bought a OnStar FMV Rearview Mirror and never used it, it has OnStar and bluetooth, if you want it I'll give you a good deal on it.

The one above your head is not a mic, it's for your AC...

Oh... Well that explains why there's one in the rear as well. Thanks

PM me with some more details. Would this work on my 2004? Same mirror? Thanks

Killer. I was wondering what the hell that thing was. It looks so out of place that I was sure it was after market or i thought even an air freshener. Good thing i did not rip it off!!! :)
