Blown Head Unit

First off, I'm using my stock HU/Nav to run my system. I think that I overloaded my remote wire(remote turn on for my amp and volt meter/powering 10" LED strip).

Everything was good for a while(the wire was powering the LEDs/amp for a month). The only thing that changed is me using the wire as a remote turn on for my volt meter. My guess is the 1/2 amp of current from the volt meter fried my HU.

My question is, is there a fuse on the HU that I can replace or am I going to have to replace the entire HU. The HU will still power up and work, there's just no good voltage coming from the outputs(speaker lines).

A bit confused by how you worded it, but do you have Bose?
If you do, the issue may be from the factor Bose amp not giving the speakers good output and not the actual HU.
I don't see how a low power LED strip could cause such problems.

Yea, sorry, I do have the Bose amp.

That makes sense seeing as my HU still appears to be fully functional and my signal processor is not recieving a turn on signal(uses high level speaker input as remote turn on)

Luckily i already had a service appointment scheduled for today for a random power seat issue, so the dealership is looking at the HU and I assume they'll work their way to the amp if the HU is not the problem.
