no, but IF I do it's likely to be where no tow truck is going to go and the grip boards can be deployed quickly, the tow hitch shackle or bumper mounted shackles or similar are required for club runs "no tow balls"Planning on getting stuck?![]()
I saw those but the straps are more compact and are "tree savers". straps around a tree will do less damage than a rope or cable and there not allowed on a club runHave you considered those ****** ropes, they've got a lot of give like the manila lines we used to tie ships to the pier with, only better.

Now that's funny, B-U-B-B-A is outlawed???
Those hook up vehicle to vehicle, no trees and they don't snap like the ones we normally use.I saw those but the straps are more compact and are "tree savers". straps around a tree will do less damage than a rope or cable and there not allowed on a club run
I was watching some video's of some of the runs and in one place in particular they drilled a shackle into a large boulder because people were damaging the surrounding tree's
these clubs work with BLM and forest management to keep the off-road trails open for public use and not destroy everything, certain clubs will adopt a trail and maintain it so it can remain open.
I’ve had my eye on these. Look forward to seeing them installed and your thoughts on them.bought a kit to convert the front inset tow rings to regular d-ring shackles

ya I was just sitting here thinking today "I wonder if anyone makes a d-ring adapter" and walla they came right up on a simple search RC seems to be the only one that makes them I didn't see anything else out there, read some reviews and didn't see anything negative so i figured why not.I’ve had my eye on these. I have a onboard air compressor (wireless one standard) for the airlift helper bags and it has a schrader valve port on the rear license plate, I figured I could make a air hose to air back up after a off road run and not have to carry a air compressor around, well it works sort of I tried it on a couple of the kids bike tires just as a test and the end result was the air compressor overheated on me and it has to sit for 25 minutes before it will operate again so.... either I can carry a compressor with me or upgrade the onboard pump there not cheap apparently i will have to call them and see if they sell just the heavy duty pump
that's a lot more than what I need, I am thinking more along the lines of a small compressor I can just mount in the spare battery compartment area, I was looking at the ARB today not sure how it will handle underhood temperatures is all, it would only see use to air up tires. Apparently the airlift pump is just for the helper bags and using it to air up tires will just burn it up duty cycle is pretty low. The ARB is like 21 minutes on 35 minutes off, info says it takes like 2 minutes to air up a 33" tire so that would work fineDon't be a punk: https://www.completeairride.com/pro...8-5-3-6-0-6-2-ls-engine-driven-compressor-kit
Yeah, it's for a Gen3 and 4. I posted it for the idea. I'm sure someone makes a kit for a Gen 5.

nooo.. lol I will probably just go with the ARBYeah, duty cycle is everything.
Speaking of, and I'm not suggesting it, but have you seen those inflators hoses that screw into a spark plug hole and clip on the tire's valve? You crank the engine to fill the tire. I think its more for a motorcycle cuz you'd probably kill the battery or burn up a starter long before you aired up a truck tire. It'd be a total PITA, but imagine eight of 'em linked together (with check valves) to use all of your cylinders. lol
Congratulations!
Now if I can just make myself save that $1k a month.......lol going to take a lot of self will powerCongratulations!
Set up an auto draft to another account. Make it $1500 though. You won't even noticeNow if I can just make myself save that $1k a month.......lol going to take a lot of self will power
i thought about that but...oh I would notice, I play with my money too much I am always shuffling money around so I do not pay any interest, the only thing I have paid interest on was this truck and that was around 4% of which I cut the loan time in half. my income is very complex it's been stagnant for several months, spending plus income = 0 which is fine since I keep a balance it's the surprise income that bumps the balance up from time to time, with my ebay business I get paid daily not by the hour or salary, what might work is taking a smaller amount out weekly and hiding it somehow otherwise it will be poking me in the eye and become another source of money to play with lol.Set up an auto draft to another account. I'm the same way with interest. Hate throwing money away. Good job on knocking out the truck.
