Does anyone know of a shock comparable to the Bilstein 5100 that is more budget friendly.

I see a lot of people doing the autoride delete with the Moog 81069 springs with Bilstein 5100 rear, and torsion bar lift with Bilstein 5100 in front.

Is there a more budget friendly version of this set up?????
Or do I have to lie to my wife..?

Cheap and suspension do not go together if you want a truck that drives nice. The Bilstein 5100s aren’t even that expensive. We put them on my uncle’s 2008 and paid $300 for all four shocks including shipping.

With the discount code that RA gives, the 5100's or KYB Mono -Max or Gas Adjust are very affordable.

@SnowCatGrave I would recommend going with OEM shocks and the Moog 81069 spring if the Biltsteins are outside your budget. It sounds like you belong in the 2nd gen forum, we dont have tbars around here
