Are there any tuners for a 2021 Tahoe that aren’t HP tuners? I don’t want that kind of cost or complexity. I don’t like how this shifts and would like a little more power. Any simple options? HP Tuners are expensive. Unlocking the ECM, buying the tuner, then buying credits to use what I bought just doesn’t sit right, plus it seems a little more complex than I want to go…and no, I don’t want to learn it.

Check for a local tuner / dyno shop..... Maybe they can do what you need.
( I always prefer a local shop, than someone far away.

I did, that’s why I don’t want HP tuners. It just looks over complicated and has a large learning curve. I liked the Diablo tuner..plug in tune, unplug

Unless something new has come up that I am not aware of, HP Tuners is the only way to tune a 21+ GM SUV. Hopefully in the near future companies can “crack the code” as I am like you wanting some extra performance and ability to adjust some things.

Yea.... My '05 Yukon is my only ride.... if there is a glitch, I will be out of a ride, until it is corrected.
BlackBear seems like a good company, but if something happens I am not an expert to solve, .. I don't have the time to hope they will solve it quickly. They are not down the street from me.

Any way to adjust the shifting? I have the Range device installed, but still shifts slow and just really bad. I expected more from a PPV/SSV.

I don't know of any companies tuning the Global B vehicles. Would be nice to have options but unfortunately the newer vehicles are getting more locked down for tuning.

Tuning options for the ‘21+ are limited. Which is why HPTuners is so proud of the option they offer, they’re one of the only ones who have “cracked the code”.

Going to your local tuner is an option, but it’s likely they’re using HPTuners also.

If you want a cheaper option you’ll just have to wait a few years for others to enter the market…

LEW apparently has a package that will do it. See the web site and email him: https://www.diablewtune.com/
Lew knows his stuff. I've got the Trinity 2 Ex Platinum that he did the custom tune for me after sending the logs. I bought it more for all the PIDS for monitoring stuff, but since I knew it was going to be a year before I did my delete and cam upgrade I just decided to go through him instead of just a canned tune. It did wake the truck up a little bit.
That said, the tuner who did my truck(HP tuners) told me he's had his share of guys that bring him a truck to be tuned after a delete and if they have been running a Diablo, it was a hard time flashing things back to factory. I didn't have any problems personally but when I told him what I had before I dropped it off, he wanted to be 100% sure it was flashed back to stock.

So the solution would be to restore the factory tune with the Diablo before taking it to another tuner.

Good tunes aren't cheap and cheap tunes aren't good. Just leave it alone. A bad tune can completely ruin a vehicle and if you don't know what you're doing, you definitely should not mess with it yourself. The dealer can absolutely tell if a tune has been removed and reprogrammed back to stock.
