Anyone try the new capacitive touch, Siri Eyes Free, or Text Message Alerts?

That's great to hear! I imagine the 2015i Intellilink is faster than before? I hated the delay of the Cadillac CUE system in the Escalade.

Very little if any delay. Very similar to an ipad. I was laughing yesterday morning. It was 21 degrees and the wife was trying to change the screen with gloves on. Capacitive touch is just that, needs capacitance.

I Like that I can speak an address instead of having to type it in. You can also send from the onstar app if you load it on the phone, it pulls up google maps and you can send to the dash.

That's great to hear! I had to repeatedly push the same button sometimes to get a response with my old 2015. The Cadillac Cue really sucks!

It's due to arrive at 11:30 AM on 11/10/14. So next week I should have it. It's a winter vehicle for me really so I'm not desperate to get it until snow falls. I normally drive a sports car or some luxury sports sedan on more decent days so the longer I hold out, means the weather is holding out!

I'm in a similar boat. The Yukon will the third car and driven on family trips mostly. It will get some use towing, hauling and tailgating too. That said, I'm just excited for the new car because I like new cars.

Okay, text messaging doesn't seem to work with my iPhone 6. Frankly it's a little shocking that they wouldn't make this feature work with such a popular phone choice. Anyone able to use the text messaging feature? What phone do you have?

My text feature works well. BlackBerry z30. Also a bunch of android phones will work. Apple is sometimes a walled in garden. If apple doesn't control it they won't support it.

I find that an interesting explanation given that my phone works fantastically with the text app on my wife's 2014 Acadia Denali.

GM changed something and I'm not sure why.

Texting works well with Android 4.4.2 KitKat on a Note2 and 3. When a text is received, it will bring up a prompt on the screen to type it out on display or have Ms.Jimmy to speak it out loud.

You can send a text to your contacts by voice.

It works perfectly with my iPhone6. Make sure you go to the bluetooth settings in the phone and turn on the "notifications". The default setting is "OFF"

I can only receive text messages with my iPhone6 but cannot reply. According to GMC the reply function is not compatible with iOS devices.....anyone else with this issue?

According to Apple, GM was told their bluetooth profile was done incorrectly, hence, no outbound texts. So, what we have is GM blaming Apple, Apple blaming GM while back at the ranch, nothing's getting done to fix the problem.

I hate to compare the nav screen to an iPad, but does anyone find the nav screen to be rather "unresponsive" compared to something like an iPad? There is a lag whenever I swipe through my radio stations or use the navigation map. Also, there is a lag when I use the steering wheel button to go through my radio favorites. For a 70k car I wish the technology felt snappier like its 2014.

The only delay I have is the weather app. Other than that everything seems pretty quick. Is yours a 15 or 15i?

What's your build date? I think they improved responsiveness in the 2015i. Mine seems quite responsive.
