Anyone have a prob with there auto start

I go to start my 07 Tahoe from the key pad and the back hatch opens tried to reprogram it a bunch of times still nothing wondering if anyone else has had this prob

Never had that problem but I have had mine not start a few times.

Change the remote battery and try again.

Maybe remote got wet or moisture in it and it shorted? I would say it is in your remote unless it does it with both remotes.

Yea both remotes don't work just pops the back hatch

So maybe something is wrong with radiomodule in the car.
You can try to reconnect the module or overwrite it using SPS. But you will need official GM service for that.

Whatever controls the remote start feature is faulty.

As I understood it only opens a hatch. So it doesn't open the doors as well

It unlocks and locks the doors everything works but when you hit the key pad to start it it just bypass to the hatch

The fob may just need to be reprogrammed or their may be an interior component damaged. Stop by your local dealer, they will be able to assist you further.

Is your check engine light on?

+1 - If the check engine light is on, this is exactly what happens but the truck will NOT start!

I've this issue on and off since day 1. GM has trouble diagnosing it b/c it is intermittent. Issue has never been resolved.

I bought my 07 Yukon in November. The remote start has not worked since I have had it. The spare fob did not work either. I just got back from the stealership. They said the spare fob was no good. So I bought a new one and had them reprogram both. They could not fix the issue with the rear hatch opening what they tries to do the remote start. They said they cleared the pc and let it relearn the program and still had the same issue. Now they say that they think it's a module on the starter that could be anywhere from $80-$200 and about 2 hrs labor. But they would have to run diagnostics first.

Has anybody figured out their issue yet?
