Any tips on getting the 2014 Yukon garage door opener to program?

It used to work no problem. Had to reprogram the actual garage door opener and now the truck won’t program to the new rolling code. It’s a 2018 Liftmaster opener. Tried with key on, key off. I cleared the old codes by holding buttons 1 & 3 until they started flashing. I’m stumped.

maybe reprogram the garage door opener again, then try the vehicle again.
maybe the opener freq currently selected is out of range of the vehicle

IIRC the Liftmaster allows only 6 wireless remotes so the memory might be full on the GDO (?). Unless you're cloning an existing OE remote for the Yukon.
