Apologies if this has been answered before...I've searched the threads and can't seem to find the answer.

I replaced my 145amp alternator with a 160amp alternator. I also installed a larger wire to the negative post of the battery.

My headlights and interior lights are flashing, and the voltmeter bounces between 13-16 volts.

Is there anything else I need to do...? Or does my Tahoe just not like the 160 amp alternator?

Thank you in advance!

You need to complete the big three wiring upgrade. It upgrades the engine to chassis ground, battery to chassis, and power wire from the alternator to the power distribution block.
