285's on these rims would not work without modification to the truck. We mounted one tire up and tried it in back and then up front. Some clearance issues on the rear fender lips under heavy load and up front, going lock to lock, besides sticking out too far and flinging muck up everywhere.

These 265's are just right for my stock height daily driver, IMO.
