Yukon was parked here in Los Angeles. Brand new Audi that plowed into it was written off. I got the drivers insurance to cut me a check for $3k. Any thoughts on what I should do? I would like to get a lower cheater panel and seam it in myself. For a bumper, is there an OE used take off upgrade? Will the Esky rear bumper fit?

By the way, the real body damage caused by the bumper is hidden under the bumper cover. Is the bumper able to be salvaged?

I'm pretty sure they're one time use. Most insurance companies automatically pay for them after a front or rear collision.

There’s no shocks on our bumpers, they’re bolted directly to the frame.
You know I realized after I posted that I didn't remember seeing any when I had my rear bumper cover off. Sorry for my confusion. It's one of the reasons manufacturers like to produce trucks and SUVs. Not the same rules.
