I've got an '08 LT and want to get rid of the wood trim. I know I could paint these pieces but I'm liking the brushed aluminum that comes on the Z71's. Anyone got the part numbers for these including the steering wheel pieces? And I've got the power side mirrors - not sure if that would effect the part number on the driver door or not.

WOW! That is expensive..... any pics of the finished project? We are getting a '07 this week and one of the first things on the list of mods is to get rid of wood grain.

I had the brushd aluminum in my Sierra all-Terrain, plus the Sierra had the covered console in brushed aluminum (closed cup holder & seperate sun glasses, like the LTZ has) which you can't get in the Tahoe Z-71. My friend has an 08 Z-71 and was so pissed I had that he ordered the same one and shaved a little off the edges and it fit right in lol, at a cost of like $200 for just that, and there only three in the country at the time took months to come in.

I am thinking the darker wood would look nice, i'm up in the air now? DAM! the chrome roof rack! the stainless Gm running boards! wanting to get my wheels chromed!!! now this? my wife is gonna shoot me! And all for what? to get nothing back if we sell it and after a couple months we're bored again anyway.. I think we're all mentally ill.
