Air Bag Light

My check air bag light came on this weekend. It had sat for 48 hours before it first appeared. I tried using my ELM327 to pull the code, no luck. I tried autozone they said they couldn't read air bag codes. Is this one that will require a tripe to the dealership?

There are few code readers that will read airbag codes. Look for one that says ABS and SRS.

My local shop lets me use the snap-on scan tool anytime. Sure is handy.

What does this code usually mean? faulty sensor?
