Yeah, it looks like you may need some outside assistance to clear that code.

From Dr. Google:

The code "B0052-00 Deployment commanded" means the vehicle's airbag control module has detected a crash and commanded the supplemental restraint system (SRS) to deploy airbags, likely due to an accident. This is a permanent code that cannot be erased with a standard scan tool and requires a professional reset or replacement of the airbag control module to clear the crash data.

What this code means
  • Crash event: The code indicates your vehicle has been in a collision that triggered the airbag control module to deploy the airbags and/or pretensioners.
  • Permanent code: This is a "hard" crash code. Once a deployment is commanded, the crash data is permanently stored in the module and cannot be reset using a regular diagnostic scanner.
  • System status: The code is a sign that the SRS has functioned as designed. However, the vehicle is now unsafe and the system must be repaired before it can protect occupants again.

How to fix this code
  1. Professional diagnosis: Have the vehicle professionally inspected to confirm all components of the SRS system are working correctly and to identify any damage from the crash.
  2. Module reset: The most common solution is to send the airbag control module to a specialized service for a professional reset. This process erases the stored crash data.
  3. Module replacement: If a reset is not an option, the airbag control module will need to be replaced with a new or used one. This may require programming to your specific vehicle.
  4. System inspection: During the repair process, also inspect all SRS components, such as sensors, seat belts, and wiring, for any damage from the collision.

This is about your airbag module under the drivers seat. It needs to be reset. There are companies out there that will do it-you have to remove it and send it to them. It can by diy but it’s difficult.

yes, you need a tool like a tech2, all that has to be done is it needs to be learned to the vin
as long as the one you are receiving was not also in a accident I got mine out of the junkyard from a clean body that was obviously never wrecked
this is from my wifes 04 i think, but same process will apply
***when I made this video I had already done the relearn so it only does it once, that's why it says the procedure is not required on the tech2 screen, initially it said learn module to vin I believe.

other higher end bidirectional scanners may also do it just depends on the scanner, like a snapon or bosch probably will not sure if a autel would or not
