Here's my question. I picked up the Tahoe today from my buddy who bagged the rear.... we are using 2600 Dominator bags and the passenger side bag is only about 1'' from the exhaust pipe, is this OK? My buddy usually does hydraulics and is not sure if the bag will be ok or if it will get too hot, he said I should probably move my exhaust but I only want to if I have to since I just dropped all the scrilla on the bags.... So, anyone running bags really close to the exhaust? It is not touching and I don't think there is a chance of it touching but it is damn close. It is probably between .5'' and 1'' from the pipe......

the exhaust doesn't get that hot back there. but i wouldn't chance it. when i do mine i will have the exhaust moved.

Yeah.... I will do the same I just can't do it right away. I am going to get some heat shield today and wrap the exhaust next to the bag.....

Seriously..... It's the worst design ever.... Driver's clears by 1/4" and pass sticks out 1/8-1/4".... So frustrating. You make one Ill buy it

The edelbrock rod for the tahoe is not adjustable. They only make an adjustable for the Mustang....... or at least that is what I got from the Edelbrock website.... Could be mistaken....

it said it was adjustable when I clicked the link but then when I looked at the picture it was one solid bar haha!
so I doubt it is but shorter is still better than the stock panhard bar!!

oh and GG check the nominations for TOTM :Handshake:

here it is
http://store.edelbrock.com/5262panh...06tahoeyukonsuburbanescaladeandavalanche.aspx

it'd be cool if you could beat that price Tony :)

looks sweet man, that notch helped out alot, since you did the notch did you end up doing a bag behind axle set up? but yea the pan-hard is a ***** on these trucks....my wheels and tires are too big to tuck on both sides but it would look alot better if it wouldnt stick out so much on the passenger side when aired out, i want to say that suicide doors or avs can make one for our truck......

Naw he just did the bags in place of the springs......AVS can make an adjustable bar.....hmmmm. That's who my buddy uses, he got all my stuff from them. I'll have him look into it.

yea i couldnt remember who it was but i bought all my stuff from them too, guess they were the ones who told me that they can make one, do you have enough room to tuck on both sides if you had a custom pan hard?

I think I might.... I clear the driver by 1/4-1/2'' and the pass side is just like 1/8'' it comes down on the outside of the tire. It would be worth a try for $100 or so. I really just need to ditch the 305's and get some 285's, I should be fine on 285's. That is a 20mm difference which is about an inch, the only issue is I don't need tires yet and I sure don't have the loot to just buy new tires for the hell of it.....

Hahha. Thnx for the nod! I am no where close but I am getting there. Hopefully in the next 8 months I'll have my wheels, front bumper, and grill powder coated black, front bagged, and thinner tires so I can get low..low..low....
