I have a 2018 GMC Yukon SLE. It has the Bose system from factory. I’m having a lot of trouble with the head unit & am looking into replacing with an aftermarket unit. Just wondering if anybody has done it & what all is involved.

Pics of the truck, please.

I changed out the entire Bose system and replaced it with aftermarket speakers and amplifiers, so I cannot help you, if you are just replacing the head unit itself.

I ended up with the BOSS 10in floating unit. Crutchfield says many units will not fit, and they are correct. But if you know what you're doing, you can "make space" in the housing area and get most units in there. In most cases, you may need and extra inch or so.
