Adding a TruCool 40k on my Hoe with no factory cooler

Hey all, had an accident while on vacation a few years ago causing some front-end damage. Been working on it a few weeks and since I have everything took apart figured I'd add a TruCool.

I did go ahead and get the AN hardware that Doubeleive suggested. At least the adapters, I got a hose kit to make my own lines since they will be a little longer since I don't have a factory external cooler.

My question is which line going into the radiator is the exit? I've seen both answers multiple times online so I came here to ask the peeps I trust. I THINK the hot is going in at the bottom and the cooled is coming out the top? So, I'm just planning on tapping in at the top and then running to the cooler. Thoughts or suggestions?

and that company that makes the an lines makes them all different sizes and is good price those lines are made to hold 700psi far beyond the 20 psi needed

Thanks, that's what I needed and I knew you would know! Yeah those lines look great but I've been wanting to try my hand at making some myself. We'll see how it goes.

I went ahead and decided to order those pre-made lines you suggested. They are really nice.

Now I'm having a tough time getting the right AN6 fitting to go into the top of the radiator. It's always something!

the fittings I suggested make this all plug n play, but without a existing cooler I would just grab a upper return line for one that does, then you can just plug it into the upper connection and run it your tru-cool, then re-connect to the original return line.

Yeah, that's the plan more or less. It looks like all I need is a 5/8-18 to AN to go into that upper radiator inlet but that's what I was trying last night and it didn't act like it was quite right. But it was late and I was about to call it a night. I'll check it a little closer tonight.

This guy sells them different lengths or configurations, but these are the ones I went with 24' has worked fine

Sorry it took me so long to update you all but I did finish up this weekend with the TruCool install as well as the front-end body work. The 6-AN 5/8-18 fitting worked perfectly into the radiator and the AN tubing kit I got was much easier to work with than expected so I opted to just go ahead and use it and make my own lines. I am very happy with how it all turned out and even happier there were no leaks! Thanks for all the help guys, I love this forum.
