So the grandparents were going to trade this in and asked if we wanted an opportunity to buy it. I told my wife we didn't need it knowing it has problems. But ended up with a 4th. Overall clean truck. It's an 09 4x4 with 105k.

So it has issues....
Burns oil and dealership said it needed rings. I talked to a buddy who works at a different dealer. He is going to check the valve cover service bulletin and make sure it's not that. If it does need rebuilt I will take it to a local engine builder who tuned my Denali. Small cam, DOD delete and stall.

The bumper is pretty beat up. I have been looking for a used one that I can have painted and swap out.

Not sure what wheels and tires
Factory 22s?
No black

Leveling kit
Tint
Navigation
Backup cam
AMP steps
Escalade rear lights
Maybe color matched door handles???
Debadge and demold
Color matched mirror caps which I have but need painted.

Need to sell the pewter Tahoe to pay for all this crap!

AND..... my favorite part about this is the wife said we get to keep the black one!!! That's a whole different project! Plan on replacing the carpet and clean it up really well. It will be getting PDR and I will try my first at paint correction.

Started working on the Suburban yesterday. Took off the passenger molding. Man it was a pain in the ass! There was a stain all the way around. Finally got it off but took twice as long. I will most likely get the letter and hatch done tonight and then start of the driver side. The paint needs some attention bad! Has stains and you can tell a big difference in where I polished and not.

I picked up some Escalade 22s for $450 but could use one tire. Probably put two on there.

I have a set of Escalade tails on my radar. Also need to go pick up roof rack. Need to sell the pewter Tahoe so I can have some extra cash to continue!

3M adhesive remover works pretty well to remove the residue from molding. It also takes lots of elbow grease!

So I got the letters and hatch done. The wife keeps asking why I haven't done the driver side. Then buffed the hatch and passenger side. One of the pictures is top not buffed and the bottom is where I hand polished after removing the molding.

Those wheels and no molding make it look like a base model. It's driving me crazy! Need to mount the 22s!!!

Basically all of the above. Idk if I want to pull the door panels for cm door handles. I know I'm going to swap out the mirror caps.

I'm waiting on a set of OE Escalade tails now. Yet third brake light. I found one on eBay but hard to spend $2-300 but probably will.

I feel that on the door panels, I'm going to pull mine in the cc to change the door handles, wouldn't do it if i wasn't going to replace both whole mirrors.

I might have a set of caps but they would need painted, also might be interested in your chrome ones if they are in not too bad of shape. Just throwing that out there lol.

I got my G5's on eBay from revotec for like $180. And esky appliqués on eBay also for like $160.

They do make an aftermarket full LED 3rd now, people question the quality because its only $135, but I've had the same brand spoiler for like a year now with no issue, and i wouldn't be concerned about the light being aftermarket either because my OEM one has a little moisture in it on one of the ends.

I have a set of caps from when I replaced them on the Denali but would entertain the idea of a trade.

Thanks! That's is more my price range for the third brake light. I'm going to look into it. May end up being pretty even once I paint it. I think I might go ahead and pull the trigger on this one. Not sure yet.

Good info on the Esky 3rd. Didn't realize that there was an aftermarket one out there like this. Pretty cool.

That's a good price for the WDT unit.

Even if you just wanna sell the chrome caps, just pm me.

Im pretty sure $216 is deal for that, especially already white for someone who needs white, then just send it to vegas for the mod.

Yeah I saw the write up you did but didn't think I would need it at the time. May throw it on the truck and tackle that at a later date.

You said it was a good deal. I sold one like two years ago for over $300. I went a head and bought the third brake light. Now waiting the taillights.

I had the same color third brake light, appliqués and tails about two years ago off a Platinum a guy was parting out locally. I bought all that for $150 and sold it on eBay along with the head lights for over 1k. The headlights alone brought $800.
