Well installed keys and spacers the other day, and here is the outcome. I also removed the pin-stripe. I have to add shock extenders because the ride quality is AWFUL.

Also looks like you need to tighten the hood to the mount on the passenger side :)

Looks good though!

Damn.

@fire730, my post keeps deleting itself.

Yes, 2wd.

Have 17" rims wrapped in 35" tires

Minimal rubbing but would like turned keys enough to get an inch and a half but would like an additional 2-3"s.

What and where do I get the following:

"ford" torsion keys?
Bilstein 5100 shocks?

Any additional suggestions?

Thanks guys

Lookin Good!!!
I agree on 5100's
I removed the airride off my YD. Went keys and spacers with z71 springs and Bilstein 5100's all the way around and don't regret it a bit!!!

I just purchased a used yukon that had large spacers in the rear. It has the rear shocks topped out. Will shock spacers fix this. Mine has the non air auto ride so I didn't wanna do away with those shocks.

yes you can add shock spacers in the rear. however if it has been driven for a while with the shocks topped out, chances are they are now damaged anyways and will need to be replaced.

How much extra height do you get from the Z71 springs? I'll be doing the Keys / Spacers in a few months, trying to plan ahead.

Most get 1/4" but some say they have gotten an 1". I only got 1/4"-3/8" with mine but maybe you can be lucky and get more.

Does it help with the ride any when doing the keys / spacer? I'm sure my springs are saggy as I have 160k on the Tahoe. I'd like to run a 32.6" - 33" tire, I really would prefer not to trim. I know the biggest thing is wheel offset which I still need to figure out.

I honestly can't answer that cause my Denali had lowering springs on it.

Well it helped my ride quality cause it was a ****** lowering job.
They cut the bump stops readjusted the ride height rods and they backed the keys all the way out. So yes helped mine drastically.
Has for wheels I had stock 17s w 285/70r17 no rub. Now my current wheels are 0 offset 275/60/r 20s At full lock I rub inner fender a tad.
