98 2 door tahoe Tail light issue HELP PLZ!!

Hello I have a 98 2 door tahoe and it’s recently developed an odd issue. The brake lights and blinkers work fine until you turn on either the running lights or headlights. As soon as you do I only get the left light working and the right has nothing. Any ideas on where to start? Anyone have access to a wiring diagram? Thanks

Start with the easy stuff like your battery ground and cable. It causes all kinds of electrical problems especially where it grounds at the motor or chassis.

Try replacing the headlight switch. I would start there or disconnect the switch and run 12v to every wire to rule out the switch.

Ok I’ll start there...Thanks. Is there anywhere I can access a diagram? I have plenty of test equipment but would like to know what I’m lookin at. Thanks

I did a quick google search for 98 wiring diagram and several came up.
