Been looking for a 2 door Tahoe. One popped up in a town an hour away. The headlights/grill look different than I've ever seen on a Tahoe. The headlights are more square and it's flat across front. Looks more like a blazer from that era. Owner says it's just a rare one and hears it all the time.

This true? Did GM make multiple grill/headlight configurations, maybe some in small batches?

From photos I can't see any gaps in body like it was in an accident, however it's painted a god awful bright color.

Very easy to swap grills, headlights, headlight buckets etc, if it was painted id think the po wanted a different look so swapped parts or even did a front clip from a pickup ...
like these?

Got a link to the ad?

They used a flatter grille for 92-93, the 94-99 would all be the same. So, aside from the Cheyenne vs Silverado trim packages, they didn’t go back and forth with old and new style grilles. If it has an older grille on it, then it was replaced for some reason.

Looks more like the hybrid of the 92-93 and something else. The headlights are square and not rectangle. Let me see what I can do and ensure anonymity as much as possible on the photo.

I've since looked into this and yeah it seems easy to swap. I don't really like the look. Seems like the gap is bigger between hood and grille. It looks flat as pictured but it does bow out some.

If it works it works but I don't like it. I think stock looks better even though I'm not huge on chrome.

That’s stock, it’s what they used on the base trim (called Cheyenne on pickups). Manual windows, locks, possibly vinyl seats and floors, etc.

I kind of like them, actually.

Sweet. Yeah got some photos of interior. Vinyl. Didn't know that would also mean manual windows, etc. I did not realize how rare these things are getting. If Ford brings back 2 door Bronco hope Chevy responds by bringing back 2 door Tahoe.
