My memory stinks since it’s been a while since I had the box opened, but I think the defrost damper is up high toward the back.

So, with the actuator installed and linkages in place, the notched dial does not turn or move at all?

If so, next step is to disconnect the connector and use a multimeter to probe the pins. Battery should be brown, so see if you get 12V from brown to black (ground) with ignition on. If not, check from brown to a chassis part.

Then check from the controller signal wire pin (white) to black and watch the voltage while the controller dial is turned. I don’t remember the range, but it’ll be noticeable.

See what you get there before junking the control panel.

I’d get a Delco control if you go that route. I had a Dorman start smoking within minutes of installation and another reviewer on Amazon reported the same. Too, the dials are slightly smaller on the Dorman, giving a light ring around them at night.

No clue on how the 95 adapters work since mine are all 98 models. Others can probably give input on that.

Defrost is I think on upper left. The one in the middle (where the links meet) is I think the floor vent. Upper right is panel.

I think that’s right, lol.

Just making sure, there are three wires right?

One is battery and should be around 12V. The next is the signal from the panel and should vary. The last one is ground.

So you have 12-ish on one and a steady 10V on the other when the dial is turned?
