my recently purchased 93 yukon is all original including the cassette player. i was wanting to put a cd player in but didnt want to cut the dash up and wanted to be able to return it to stock if its possible. ideas and pics would be great.thanks

Ok is the cassette player in the middle of the dash like on the old pre 95 dash like mine? If so just pull The plastic bezel that has the ac things on top out the just disconnect from Tue back and buy a radio splicer thing and just wire up. It's easy I can post pics later if u need help

with this one you will have to shave a little off of the factory opening, but it will keep the factory color and the vents in place: http://metraonline.com/part/99-3001
with the 99-3000 series you will have to remove the vents and reuse them and all hardware in the aftermarket kit, which may or may not work out too well. however, this is the only true option to go back to 100% stock with no modification. they have all 5 factory matched colors in addition to black: 99-3000b [blue], 99-3000br [brown], 99-3000bg [beige], 99-3000g [grey], 99-3000r [red]. these will not have 19 years of sun-fading though, so don't expect a perfect match.
if you want a cleaner look (1 radio in the dash instead of 2), you can grab one of these as well - http://metraonline.com/part/88-00-3301 if i remember right, you will have to remove the central radio control unit anyways to access the needed harnesses for the aftermarket adapter.
