Been in my 09 esky for about 4 weeks now and the mpg are pretty decent in my book. Carrying 12-13 city and 17-18 hwy and my hwy miles are all at a good clip almost always. This is unmolested / no mods.

Sounds about right!

Awesome flikr pics bTW

Lose the super chips! The JET MAF is junk. I second that you are probably running way to rich. Do you have stock exhaust ? I lived in NY for a while what the way Y'all norm drive is like crazys down south! And I am an ******* driver and Y'all scare me.

Hello everyone. I have been watching the forum for several months now and wondering......
Am I getting proper mpg or what.

I have a 08 denali with a superchip tune a k&n intake and a jet maf sensor. No other performance options.

City I can't get more than 8 mpg highway 12mpg.

I drive her relatively hard. I am not racing from light to light.

Is this normal? What are you getting? What should I do differently?

i feel your pain brother, also with a 6.2 denali AWD, living in NYC doesnt help the fact, i personally have been getting about 10-12mpg myself, in the city, every once in a while i need to get on the highway and take that long drive down to AC to get the avg MPG read out up to comfort my mind subliminally lol

Nevermind, I see you said you took it off.

MAF and throttle body clean? That higher compression engine will see better results with 91+. Could also be bad fuel.

Going to do a catch can and clean the top thoroughly soon. Waiting for tony to do a DIY on the one he did. I will advise.

I see everyone's mounted on the drivers side of the motor. Isn't the hose in question on the 6.2 on the passenger side attached to the k@n intake tube?

I get 11.1 usually but right now it says 12 mpg due to driving about three hours on the highway recently.

I know the catch can is easy to install this is not my first rodeo doing a PCV reroute, but NO ONE will show how to remove the top plastic piece to get to the hose.
Even though they claim they will post up a DIY showing, all they do is show the engine with it already removed.
If its so easy then please humor me and direct me to someone that knows how to explain or show pic's.
Even the dude at Catch Can, can not not be bothered to give any suggestions.
I will not just yank up something until I know where it mounts.

Sent from my Rock-in Chair.

As far as mileage on my Denali 6.2 stock 12.8-14.0 with EFI 12.8-13.3 both city/little highway
