I just recently put in a readylift leveling kit. Raised my truck from 36 inches from the top of my wheel well. To the ground. And now its 39 inches all four wheel wells. At full wheel lock with the stock 31 inch tires I have like 2 1/2 inches of clearance between my wheel and the wheel well. I am wanting to put 35 inch tires on. Has anyone else fit 35s with just a leveling kit?

Yes you can stuff 35s but avoid a 12.50 width, you will need to stay narrow around 275/65R20 size. Any suspension travel will rub places, best to do a 33 on key lift max of 34

I agree with 01Konvict im running 33.8x12 and I am very close to scubbing even though I have not had to trim any and rub every once in a while at full turn reverse at an angle.

Stay away from 35/12.5/20. You'll have to do lots of trimming! 33/12.5/20 work great now though I did like the look of the wheel well being stuffed.

I talked to my tire guy the other day because I was thinking of doing the same and he said he has put a set of 315/75r16s on one with 3 inch keys which is a 35 just not as wide but he also said to clear them they had to crank the key all the way up which will ride rough and is bad on your cv joints and he's been in the business for 20 years or more so I trust him

I raised my front end 2-2.5" and have 285 70 17 Nittos on factory 7.5" wide wheels.
The biggest tire I could run with this set up would be a 295 70 17.
I'm already close to cladding contact in front and have a very slight rub on DS rear whee lwell liner. If I were to go bigger, I'd need to crank the keys a little and get wheels with less offset.

I decide to go with 285/75/16 federal couragia m/ts. I have seen many people with that size tire like the look.

I have tremendous trimming done to fit 35x12.5x20s! And I'm on a full suspension lift of 4" right now. Tires are so wide I had to space them away from the truck 1" as well. As they had touch the frame in the back.

The trimming consisted of all the hard metal behind the inner wheel well lining and fender. Got nice clearance now!

To fit 35s I would recommend 4" or better!

I had 315/70/17 on 9 inch wide rim with keys and 1.5" spacers. I actually had those tires installed with stock keys. Just had to trim where it rubbed in the front bumper and fenders. It wasn't anything major, like making 33's fit on a XJ with no lift. Never rubbed since adding the keys. I also never went offroading so can't comment on that aspect.

Yes, 315's aren't true 35's. But with trimming i don't see why 35's wouldn't fit.

There's also this option for trimming: http://www.duramaxforum.com/forum/n...1-nbs-hd-large-fender-mod-step-step-pics.html
