I have a 2" leveling kit on the Tahoe now. Will this tire size work with just this kit ?

any feedback is appreciated.
Thanks !

I think so, since Discount Tire Direct offers it as an option for stock vehicles. Plus it was the size I was planning on running with the RevTek leveling kit.

EDIT: Oops, my bad. They list 305/50 and 315/50, not 55.

Simple answer...No!
To proper;y clear them with zero rubbing your going to have to trim metal.

SW CT,
On my tahoe I ran the CCM Offroad 2.5fr/1rr kit and had to trim metal behind the wheelwell and plastic to the front of the wheelwell between the fenderliner and foglight, once that was done I cleared the 305/55/20's in Nitto TerraGrapplers and Nitto TrailGrapplers with no rubbing at all offroad and all. Honestly the best combo would be the RC 3.5" kit with 305/55/20's on either stock wheels or aftermarket wheels with close to stock offset.
One other option is 275/60/20 which is the same height as a 305/55/20, but only 11 or so inches wide. I have done alot of nnbs tahoes and pickups with this size with zero scrub/rub.
