Congrats. How does it - meaning the '03 Suburban Z71 - feel after 300,000 miles?
What's stayed pretty much the same? What's gotten worse? Has anything gotten better?

It really still drives awesome. The only 3 items that are an issue:
1.) front driver seat is worn so I had to patch it with leather upholstery tape.
2.) the front driver passenger seat heater no longer works.
3.) It leaks some oil.
Other than that it is awesome. I have a 2023 Denali, but rarely drive it because the burb is just so great. Also, The burb can go anywhere. It is a very capable off road rig. Since I don't have to worry about it getting scratched, I can now take it anywhere. It is really amazing and awesome. So that is what got better - I don't worry about taking it way back in gnarly Oregon back woods remote areas and it performs awesome.

I can't remember the exact code, but when I looked it up it was related to the O2 sensor. It does not affect how it drives. As far as maintenance goes, I have spent very little other than the standard stuff like tires, brakes tune ups, and oil changes. I spent $1750 to have the tranny rebuilt at 224K miles. I got a new transfer case for $450 about 6 months ago, but other than that almost no real big repairs. Its really amazing!

Just surpassed 300,000 miles on my 2007 Tahoe last week. OEM 5.3l bone stock unchanged, still rides great, no codes, LT trim bells and whistles still work, well except for that damn rear lift gate actuator. Welcome to the club Jocko.
looks like you need to update your signature since it hasn't been updated since 226K lol

All easily repairable if you wanted
I got new leather and seat heater on mine
I’m sure the oil is a gasket

People gush of Toyota/lexus, but these models are right there with them
