2022 Tahoe aftermarket airbags for towing - do they exist?

Can you not lift the truck by adjusting the spring stops? Might have to use stiffer springs, depending on what they ship with, but theoretically would move the compression up two inches from current.

This thread is more about air setups, not just lifting. Some coilover shock setups have adjustability, some dont.

There are not and likely never will be air bags for IRS on the Tahoe. Hybrid shocks are the best we'll get.

I have been thinking of adding air ride to my suburban. It is currently lowered. My thoughts are to buy the OEM airride shocks and add aftermarket controller with tank and manifold.

You could do elevel to keep it at ride height when towing, or pressure based system.

This is the route I was thinking of going. I asked earlier in the thread if Tahoes/Yukons all have the same wiring harness. For instance on alot of wake boats regardless of what options you purchase the wiring harness is the same. So alot of people buy used accessories and plug them in and then you have that specific option. In theory that would mean you could plug them in to the air ride plugs that may or may not be there. and then put a compressor and boom. You have factory air ride for probably around 3-4k.

I highly doubt you will have access to the software to control the air bags. They are an dynamic embedded system. And the air bladders replace the springs, so you can't even just use them like a manual adjustment for towing.

Glad someone made one. A little dear for my stock ride height aspirations. I looked at getting the rear shocks and just airing manually for town or tow, but I hate the idea of being on the bump stops if one fails while towing. I guess you could install stock parts in an emergency, but they aren't exactly cheap, either.

I'm leaning toward the King shocks air shocks, which have springs, but I want to make sure it rides at normal height without air. They seem to cater more to lifts, so crossing fingers.

I know this is an old thread, but here is what i have done to my 2022 Z71 and i do not have sag while towing. I went with LTX tires to start,elimionated a lot of roll. I then put on Beltech sway bars set to the tow settings. I have a 26 ft trailer 5400 lbs dry 6500-7000 lbs loaded and i do not have any sag, I am using an equalizer 4 point hitch and i am sure the Nivomat shocks are helping to level also, on a really rough road I can get a little bounce (not terrible or dangerous but I wanted to improve this. I am have heavier rear springs put on next week, the same ones shown in this discussion. They are 35% heavier and as they are progressive should not hurt the ride empty. I will let you know how this works next month when I tow again. I am impressed with how well the 5.3 engine and 10 speed tranny handle this load. I came from a 1 ton diesel ram so no comparison but the way the suburban is setup, it is not uncomfortable to tow.
Added the springs. So far, very good, they did not raise the ride height and the ride is still good but firmer. It did help eliminate some understeer that I had from increasing the sway bars to tow level. I will update this again when I tow next month.

Any update? I bet hooning around empty, it messes with responsiveness.
