Purchased a 2021 Yukon with Bridgestone Alenza 22’s. I’m concerned about the tires sidewall as it looks dry rotted. Any of you guys have the same issue?? It only has 2k miles on it and not happy with the side walls on all 4 tires. I ceramic coated it this pass weekend and came out beautiful!!

Not dry rott.. Those tires have been rubbed. Wonder if they were factory defects..
Yeah to me it looks like it’s been ridden on very low air. I called Discount Tires to see if there’s a recall but there’s not any.

Yeah, my Escalade is the same. I've never been happy with Bridgestones, I went through three sets on my Tahoe and finally got fed up and switched to Michelins. The Escalade will be getting Michelin when the Bridgestones are done.

No issues in regards to the drive and vibration? I want to go with the Pirelli tires again. So it’s just cosmetic you think?

I got a reference number from Bridgestone. They said to take it to the dealer since it’s so new, but I don’t see them doing anything about it.

Those look like wheels from the previous generation SUV. Did you swap them out when you bought the vehicle? They look good though! I like those 22s a lot better than the 22s coming on the new ones.

No, I think they ride and handle OK, although I have a few times noticed a vibration, but it seemed to be on the same stretch of road, so I think it is just the pavement. Mine also have other cosmetic imperfections, there are places on the sidewall where there is a brownish streak that can't be scrubbed away, it's like the rubber is a different color there. I am curious to see how the treadwear goes on these though.

That was my big complaint with the Bridgestones that came on the Tahoe when it was new. I only got about 25k miles out of them. I replaced those with a higher model of Bridgestone (Alenza's), and then had to have them replaced under the mileage warranty at about 27k. The replacements only lasted about 25k as well, so I switched to Michelin. I get about 60k with them, and I think they ride better.

That’s interesting! Yours is the first I’ve seen with previous gen wheel and definitely the first to what it came from the factory like that. All the other ones I’ve seen rolling around have the latest gen wheels on them. I wonder how that happened.
