2019 Tahoe LT- Yet Another Headlight Question ,,,,,

I own a 2019 Tahoe, and as many of you have said, the OEM bulbs are awfu.

If I change them to LED, will I become a member of the “ blind on coming traffic A-Hole club“ or will they be OK?

If OK, which brand/s is the most recommended?

These are the Morimoto 2 Stroke 3.0 ( low beam mode)
Plug n play for a halogen replacement.

All fits within the factory rear cap as well.
I did adjust slightly and almost 1.5 yes and no complaints, Noone flashes

There are a few equal choices....these are also adjustable. You can rotate the filament to correctly produce the cutoff...mine went in and needed nothing.

I bought GTR Ultra 2 LED headlights, after trying some others. Expensive, for sure, but it gives me the extra light beam distance and the light beam spread that I want.

Be sure to buy LEDs that are adjustable. The actual adjustment mechanism is different for different brands/models, but the instructions supplied with the LEDs (or an installation guide on their product web site) should guide you through the process.

Bottom line, the popsicle stick in the LED headlight holding the LED chips needs to be as close to vertical as possible, after installed and locked into place in the headlight housing, with the LED chips pointing to the 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock positions. The photo of the guide below, while maybe not for your specific brand/model, will give you a visual sense of how these LED headlights need to be positioned in a correct alignment within the headlight housing.

Anyone running into issues with LED lights not turning on? Last night I couldn't get lights to come on at all, tried to turn them on manually, auto lights off, back on, and nothing would get them to come on. Luckily I had a short drive home so I just ran the fogs but this is not good. One finally came on as I was getting closer to home, but not both bulbs. Connections are tight, so I'm confused as to what it could be...

I take it you do not have HID as low beams? I tried Morimoto led's for my high beams was not happy so I switch to VLED micro extreme and very pleased

my 2019 tahoe came with HID, I upgraded the stock HID to Osram night breaker laser xenarc, replaced the halogen high beams with VLED LED MicroExtreme and the fogs with Stark Phantom psx26w bulbs, could not be more pleased, like daytime at night

Been using them on my highbeams for 3 years and no issues except super bright lights

upon my initial install, i has a single light not illuminate...played witht eh switch, considered a need to repin thinking the wiring was backwards....

unplugged the harness, and used dielectric grease, going on close to a year or so and not a single issue since. not all parts are created equal, and tolerances, connections etc...you may have to tighten up the female end of the connections to aid in contact. always worth a try.

Mine did not have HID factory, all nasty halogens. So after some digging, the poles on one of the bulbs are reversed, which I remembered from install, so I ended up buying some anti-flicker/canbus error decoder to go between bulb and factory harness. I'm guessing because the LED does not require as much voltage, it's basically erroring out. So far, no issues but I'll see how it goes over the next few days since I installed them and basically left for a work trip until tonight.

that sounds correct...i too did not have HID, mine had factory halogens.
