2013 Tahoe gauge cluster lights turn off at night

I just bought a used 2013 Tahoe LS and the gauge cluster lights turn off at night. The headlights and everything else seems to be working normally (except vanity mirror lights dont work either). The gauge cluster lights do turn on during the day, its only at night they turn off. I noticed that if I press the dome light switch halfway in, it causes the gauge cluster lights to turn on temporarily, along with the vanity mirror lights and the 2nd and 3rd row dome lights. Does anyone have any idea what is going on here? Is this a grounding issue? I already replaced the headlight switch and removed the vanity mirrors but that didnt fix anything.
