Good Afternoon All, I'm looking for some help with my wife's 2011 Chevy Suburban LT 5.3L. This vehicle has had a few problems through the 2 going on 3 years we have owned it ( Bought with 144,000 to now 168,000). I have replaced in the last year-
Front struts (Monroe)
All 4 calipers brakes and rotors
Engine mounts
Transmisson pan gasket
Leveling kit
Sway bar links
Recently I have had an issue, when driving you could feel heavy vibrations going over cracks or bumps in the road. To this issue I installed in the 3 weeks-
Upper control arms
Lower control arms
Wheel hubs in the front
Sway bar bushings and links
Rear bilstein shocks 5100
.....
I soon realized that after THESE parts I could see the new UCAs hitting the bumpstops. So I said enough with the leveling kit. Removed the leveling kit and the ride got MUCH BETTER but I still have this issue with an almost whole interior/body vibration when hitting small cracks or bumps in the road. Tires are not in the best shape but I have switched tires with no differnece at all. Tires are at 32 psi with 20 inch stock rim.
I can hit serious speed bumps doing 20mph and the truck takes it like a champ but when driving any speed I can feel the interior of the vehicle vibrate and creak all over. I am think body mounts (they do not look crumbling or bad but I'm out of options) or a new set Tires, but if that doesn't fix it, I might drive this off into a pond. Any insight is appreciated! Please any thoughts I am open to! Thank you in advance
