I have a 2007 Tahoe LTZ RWD with auto leveling. I put some 22's on it and I need to drop it. Everyone has been recommending the 2/3 drop from Belltech to drop it evenly. I believe it's the Belltech 753 kit. Has anyone used it. Is there anything else I need to get. Should I change the struts also. Need help.

i went with the 2/4 drop from beltech. I will be adding airlift helper bags soon, because sometimes the rear bottoms out on hard bumps in the road.

Finally did the Belltech 753 2/4 drop. All went well but now my autoride doesn't work. Checked cables fuses relays all good. I removed the rod that activates the auto ride and moved the mechanism manually but it doesn't activate the autoride. Once we took truck off lift we didn't hear the compressor activate. I also replaced rod with the shorter rod that Belltech provides and still doesnt work.

Yes with a Tech2 or Snap-On Solaris. Your service suspension light isn’t on? There is a connector on the passenger rear frame rail that’s known to come unplugged very easily when changing shocks so I would try following the wiring harnesses and looking for anything that came unplugged. IIRC that connector is behind the passenger rear wheel or in that general area.

Moving the auto leveling sensors in the back manually will not give you instant gratification.

The system has a delay built in. Once you move the sensors it takes about 5-10 seconds for the compressor to react and turn on.

If this delay wasn't built in then every time you hit a bump the compressor would turn on and off.

You can also jump out the relay harness for the compressor under the hood.

It is the Green (if memory serves) relay on the harness underneath the brake master cylinder/ booster. Just unplug the relay and jump a wire between terminals 30 and 87 on the harness side.

If the compressor turns on then you know it is good.
