2007-2014 Nav stereo in at 2005?

Does anyone know if it's compatible to replace the Nav stereo in my 2005 Tahoe with one that comes out of a the later gen model? I really want to keep the steering wheel controls. I know I can buy an aftermarket stereo but I see one in my area for sale for a good price right now.
